Gwalior, 3 November 2024 — The Air Force Vidya Bharti Alumni (AFVBA) organized a grand reunion that brought together over 300 students and teachers, marking a significant milestone in its community-building initiatives. This event was held at the prestigious Air Force School campus in Gwalior, sparking joy and nostalgia among attendees.
Chief Mentor Bubul Mandal, addressing the crowd, expressed pride in the successful turnout, saying, “With this grand success, we are inspired to organize more events in different parts of India and even internationally.” His words were met with enthusiastic applause, reflecting the excitement of future reunions.
The event included heartfelt moments such as the felicitation of more than 30 esteemed teachers, acknowledging their lifelong commitment and contributions. The attendees were also treated to an exceptional live music performance by the Rutbaa music band, with notable musical interludes from alumni Nishant, Abhyuday Tiwari, and Abhishek Jain, adding a vibrant touch to the evening.
A particularly emotional segment of the program was a tribute to beloved teachers Rani Mam, Dixit Mam, Meghla Mam, and Vaidya Mam, who were honored with a minute of silence. Their legacies were further commemorated through the unveiling of beautiful sketch paintings that resonated deeply with all present.
Students were gifted with mementos, medals, and special edition t-shirts as souvenirs of the unforgettable gathering. The highlight of the day included the recognition of the 2003 batch of Air Force School, which received the Best Batch Award, sparking cheers from the alumni.
In the spirit of camaraderie, a series of sports activities took place, with Katre House winning the cricket match and Lal House triumphing in the dodge ball game. Sports event concluded with a relaxed high tea, and many participants took the opportunity to unwind further with a dip in the swimming pool.
